Journey on Elephant back is most exclusive safari through Corbett National Park in Dhikala Tourist Zone, India's first and one of its finest Tiger Reserve. These safaris not only make it possible to view wildlife from back of an elephant, but perhaps more importantly provide unique opportunity to spend a day in life with elephant. Jim Corbett elephant safari is divided into two types. The first type of safari takes place inside tiger reserve in corbett national park while other elephant safari takes place in buffer zone of corbett national park. Elephant safari which was bookable at Dhikala and Bijrani is suspended now and is available only outside the park boundary near Vanya River Access Resort. The main advantage of elephant safari is, visitors can reach and view places which are inaccessible on jeep safari. One can view surrounding from a great height during elephant safari, thus gives tourists something to remember for rest of their lives. Jim Corbett Elephant safari in buffer area is operated near Vanya River Access Resort Laduachaure.
Elephant Safari is closed/ suspended for visitors in Dhikala, which was earlier used to operate between : 15 November to 15 June

Summers Elephant Safari Timings– Morning: 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM Afternoon and Evening: 16:30 PM to 18:30 PM
