Jim Corbett National Park is a forested wildlife sanctuary in northern India’s Uttarakhand State. Rich in flora and fauna, it’s known for its Bengal tigers. Animals, including tigers, leopards and wild elephants, roam the Dhikala zone. On the banks of the Ramganga Reservoir, the Sonanadi zone is home to elephants and leopards, along with hundreds of species of birds. Now All Jeep Safari zones will remain open during monsoon period also ( effective from 01st July 2021)

When to Visit Corbett National Park : months of October through June are perfect time to visit Corbett National Park as most park zones open to tourists during these periods and some zones of the park kept closed during monsoon months. The main reason for closure of park safari gates during monsoon because roads inside park get washed away due to rain. The repair work starts after monsoon and ends only by October till the roads are back in motorable condition.

How to Get Jim Corbett Park? Corbett National Park is situated at an approx distance of 230 Kms from National Capital Delhi. The small town near Corbett is Ramnagar which also forms headquarters of CTR is well connected by road & rail with major cities of India like Moradabad, Nainital, Bareilly & Delhi.
Reach Jim Corbett by Road : Ramnagar has very good road network that connects with different cities of India. Uttarakhand state government buses ply at a regular interval of time from Delhi, Moradabad, Haldwani that reaches directly Ramnagar. Jim Corbett is only 15 Kms from Ramnagar town. The surface drive from Delhi to Corbett takes approximate five and half hours. The fastest approach routes are : Delhi-Gajrola-Moradabad-Kashipur-Ramnagar : (240 km) .
